Is it possible to merge this thread with the old one?

Thanks fella Hopefully people will think its a good idea. I will invite the Network PR team to join as well so they can input, just in the same way Kevin from Eureka does on their thread

I'm loving some of the upcoming announcements from Network, but I hope they're going to be more consistent with their Blu-ray packaging. I also hope they get around to upgrading their Hitchcock set to Blu-ray.

Seconded!

Their recent announcements are, for me, the most exciting since they released The Lodger and Odd Man Out in the middle of 2012. Let's hope it's just a taster of what's to come in the year ahead.

I still need to get Odd Man Out. I'm thrilled they announced This Sporting Life.

It looks like ordering through their website is the best option. They're all nicely priced at £9.18 with free shipping(for those in the UK).

Odd Man Out is brilliant.

would have at least hoped for english SDH on every! release.
i do love british cinema , dont get me wrong here, but i have real problems with the heavy accent that is used in these movies. (fish tank and naked for example, really glad the criterions come with eng subs...)

prices on the network shop are real good compared to amazon but...

Were you actually able to pre-order? I can only see a 'notify me' option.

I LOVE This Happy Breed. I genuinely think it's more emotional and more heart breaking than Brief Encounter.

Is the South Bank Show: David Lean - A Life in Film extra worth double dipping for? (I have THB in the US Deavid Lean Directs Noel Coward set)

Also, your sig. It's baffling as to why the UK hasn't had a release of Oliver, but France has had two.

Thanks, thought I was missing something obvious for a minute! Will definitely be in for Hands of the Ripper and This Sporting Life at those prices.

Hi

Probably not worth it unless you are an absolute Lean freak plus it is only on DVD.

I know frustrating about Oliver Twist, I have it saved on my Humax from a 1080i broadcast a year or so ago.
Interestingly the only reason I held out on the French one was because it was 1080i but apparently they are releasing a 1080p version in March

I don't know how this can be done without bumping Nick out of the top spot. I will try later, but most likely the first post will then be replaced by the system as it inserts everything that is merged in chronological order.

I clicked on the 'Notify Me' button for 'This Sporting Life' and was prompted to enter my email address so that I could be notified when it is available to order. However, on submitting my email address, I got the following error message:

Error: "This Sporting Life" is not a valid Interest Group for the list: Product Notifications #3

Whatever that means. I'm not impressed.

I just hope their Blu-ray release is better than their website functionality!

If you're on Twitter I'd drop them a Tweet @networkdvds. They're usually quick to reply, and happy to be made aware of any bugs on the site. Happily, just like Masters of Cinema, their releases are far better than their website would have you believe!

Really not sure how I managed to completely overlook Odd Man Out on it's release!? Looks like a gem of a noir! Will be adding that to the next order.

Does anybody own the 'Tales Out Of School' set that includes all those fantastic films? I'd like to know what the transfer is like for Made In Britain..
