Half of my circle enjoys them, including half of my family. Only one person in my group was "shocked" by what Bill said, a young person who doesn't remember the world as it was, when we asked everyone to be honest about who they are, so we could assign them to their niches and be done with all the guessing. Try not to be too upset with him, for too long.

In the 80s, marching for gay rights with two dear friends, one was yelled at and the other, twenty years older than us, saw our angered, young-person reactions and took us aside. He explained, you can't censor thought and, if you are foolish enough to censor speech, you will never know who you've let into your life, so let people tell you who they are and take whatever good they have to offer.

As to Banana Man, he would never hurt a gay person. He would never harm any of us here, or annoying him on Facebook. He has our home addresses and has had plenty of opportunities. However, if he has truly hurt any customer willing to say so on the board, he should send that person an apology post and move on from the issue, perhaps by releasing his next film. But, for what it's worth, I really don't think more than just the couple of people who've said it here, actually blame you for what Bill says, as though you are a puppet master pulling strings. And it was an interesting Live Feed, as always.
