That's because the USPS did pretty damn good!

It’s so true though. Everyone acts like Dark Force is doing something besides putting a couple extra bucks down for faster shipping

Time is also dependent on distance and, of course, weather, at this time of year. But doesn't DF ship in a bubble mailer which is much cheaper to ship (materials and shipping) than an item packed in a rigid box with bubble wrap.

I've had packages take anywhere from 2-4 days for delivery from VS before though.

DF always ships very fast. I know some people might have issues with some of the things done/said by the label, but it’s just promotion. DF promotes based in his wrestling background ...not my preference, but I don’t have a probem with it.

I’ll say this, the Demon has “thick” skin and is not easily offended...that’s ok in my book.

Very thick skin for someone who just threatened to put someone else in this thread into a coma a couple of days ago.

I tremble to think of the devastation he could cause if he suffered a more fragile disposition.

He'd probably call them a "Nut Sack Tadpole" and close his store for a week or two before pulling whatever release was being discussed that resulted in said comments being made.

Christmas in July.

Although I'd rather have it now. Good thing they're not making us wait.

He is controversial...no doubt . But look, I have criticized and disagreed on many things...including the promotion and handling of THTV and The Carrier. Believe me most of the label people that I have dealt with in 11 years in the site would have thrown a hissy fit.

The label industry attracts hyper sensitive individuals that take offense at the smallest issue (aka Bill). I don’t have an issue with David.

I have found Dave to be one of the most personable label owners of those I've interacted with. While there are extremely friendly folks like Walt @ scorp and Ryan @ VS, Dave is the only label owner I can think of who puts so much of his personal life into the label and does so publically. Whether it's his enjoyment of the macabre (type of dude you'd often find in Salem, MA) , heel wrestling persona, or his own personal movie collectibles Dave seems to really bring a personal authenticity to the label instead of the typical social media jubilance that lacks a personal touch that we see from many labels.

And, while some may disagree with CRs business practices Dave has been upfront about just trying to work with code red and make a buck to make the company work. I think sometimes we buy into the illusion that these labels are primarily doing it for the love of film when these elaborate high priced editions are released, but the truth is unless it's a nonprofit org the money is the bottom line. I am happy Dave is honest about this instead of putting up a pretentious smokescreen, again contributing to his authenticity.

I also hope the live streams and Facebook videos continue as for the most part I find them informative and/or entertaining depending on the subject matter.

Your observations are necessitated by the juxtaposition against other labels but can you demonstrate the lack of transparency that elevates Dark Force’s authenticity?

Not sure if it's been announced here or in the CodeRed thread, but they have Curse of the Blue Lights available under new products:

https://darkforcesuperstore.com/curs...-dvd-code-red/

It looks like they also have a few copies of Eye of the Labyrinth in for anyone that is interested:

Thank you Blu. I tell people all the time if you can't take criticism you definitely will not fare well in the entertainment business. The way I see it everyone is entitled to their own opinion and as long as they are talking about you it's something.

Ruined you seem to always have an incredible understanding of the dark forces. As the late great Roger Ebert would have said TWO THUMBS UP!
