I see she's done vocals with Bjorn from Soilwork, Mikael from Dark Tranquillity & Niklas from Dream Evil on the song 'Inner Monster Out' from their last album. I'd like to hear her do a duet with Daniel Heiman (Lost Horizon/Heed). Never heard of this band before, thx.
Don't mention it, glad you like them! I discovered them about 5 years ago just browsing a website & clicking on random band tab constantly. I came across the band & sampled some songs on youtube & enjoyed what I heard. It didn't take me long to start hunting down their cds. I have all 3 of their albums & enjoy them all. They'll be releasing a 4th album soon, so looking forward to that. It'll be the 1st album with new bass player Magnus Rosén (ex-HammerFall)

I sampled some Lost Horizon on youtube & plan to give a listen to a full album, their debut. From the short bits I listened to it sounds like something I can get into so we're even lol Thanks, always looking for new music!

Here's another band you may want to check out, perhaps you already know of them.

Band: Triosphere (Norway) Album: The Heart of the Matter (2014) Label: AFM records

Magnus Rosén has also worked with Jørn Lande & Tony Martin among others. LH's Awakening The World is great imo, & AFTTGB is very good too, with Daniel Heiman's vocals being awesome on both, but yeah, start with the debut for sure. Never heard of Triosphere, will try & give it a listen sometime today.

Question Do I Know You?

Turns out it was the 95YNF (Tampa, FL) radio station van and because I had a 95YNF bumper sticker they wanted to give me something. It was a just released LP copy of Screaming For Vengeance.
This freaks me out because there's a chance you & I went to high school together, Gator. I too was raised in Tampa Florida, as well as having 95YNF & 98ROCK on my radio all the time. You're "Screaming Giveaway" story is something I remember too back in the day with YNF. Remember how we all hated Q105, the commercial station? Sadly, all of them are gone now with new call letters and formats, but nothing beats coming of age in Central Florida back in the 80's.

Question Iron Priest with Bruce Halford

Yeah, tough question. In a lot of ways Iron Maiden and Judas Priest are cut from the same cloth. But if I had to categorize:

Iron Maiden: Better players musically

Judas Priest: Better writers for hit, catchier songs

I have most of the library of each in my car/home, and a true answer changes when I re-discover each band again. And so many good albums by each it's so hard to tell. Each had vocalists that would identify the Heavy Metal genre in the 80's.

What can I say, I love them both.
