And I'm back! And it's everything everyone said it was.

Surprising reaction for someone who hates Zoe Saldana and doesn't read comics.

Let's be fair though, Saldana kinda sucked in this. I mean there is nothing wrong with her herself but outside of Rocket, Groot and Quill everyone was really under utilised. The supporting characters stole the screen while they were on it, but they clearly wanted to save a lot of material for the sequel they knew they were getting.

I don't think she sucked but I was probably distracted by her action sequences and all the posterior shots of her they used.

Other than Avengers and the Iron Man films, they haven't been. Whatever ever happened to movies that double their money domestically or get people to line up outside theaters?

Umm...Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Solider both tripled their budgets. It's not just about domestic box office anymore. The world wide box office numbers are much more important. So the Marvel franchise is on a roll lately. You can't deny that, whether you like the films or not.

I do miss the sweet Blue/Red Guardians Uniforms from DnA's run. But at least we got Blue Uniforms at the end.

Just took a quick look at the poll ratings, and some of the usual suspects have graced us with their typical 1/5 rating.

Must be a sad existence hating just about every movie.

Besides... for the most part the theatrical Box Office doesn't really matter as much as it used to.

The theatrical release is more or less a trailer for the eventual Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Download release.

Cause that's where the movie really earns it's big bucks. And why a hot seller on Home Video can even ensure a sequel for a subpar showing at the Box Office. It's sorta sad but true now adays.

It's one thing to put him in as a gimmick, but trying to tie him in to the rest of the MCU might be too much. This is coming from someone that has absolutely loved what Marvel has done so far, by the way.

How is it any different than having a talking raccoon? I'm just saying...People act like it's huge deal, but you got behind an walking, talking tree and a talking, gun toting raccoon. Where's the line that separates them from
[Show spoiler]Howard
? I'm legitimately curious, because I can't understand it. Most people don't understand how great Howard is as a character because of the film, but the comic version is excellent.
