As long as the "2-disk" marking is missing on the back of the case itself, it's the remastered version. The slip case markings are irrelevant.

I sent mine in on the 4th and found my replacement on my door step when I got home from work yesterday. I watched only the first 20 minutes because I am in the middle of Dexter Season 4, but it looked fantastic so far.

Do i need to call Paramount to get an RA# or something to put on the envelope?

Or do i just place my disk in an envelope and send it to the address in the first post?

Geez enough with the big fonts already. Why does this whole issue seem to make you want to write with

No RA# is provided. When you call, they just help you confirm you have the old disk.

If you have verified that you have the old disk, just mail it in and include a ship to and phone number with the old disk.

There is no tracking, disk received confirmation or shipped confirmation.

It makes the information more "accurate" and his posts are superior that way.

I got my replacement today, haven't had time to watch it yet as I just got back from a 12-hour drive from King's Island, OH. You Buckeyes have it nice as you have both King's Island and Cedar Point in the same state!

I sent it out on 8/3 and got it on 8/24, not too bad for a replacement program.

What an improvement over the flat, lifeless, EE ridden original. I can now watch the movie and be wowed by the visuals instead of being distracted by a poor picture.

And yes, the flaming arrows do fill the sky now, unlike the original BD where you could barely see anything. It really does add to the sense of overwhelming superiority of the Roman forces over the Germanic barbarians, which is why that shot was there for in the first place.

There is hope for those in the UK who imported the Sapphire Series edition as my replacement came today and looks stunning as I had expected.

I'd like to thank everyone who has been filling this thread with information and stories of hope.

got mine fedexed just now! =D YIPEE! looks like Paramount is working on a 2-4 week turnaround time depending on where you are =D i'm all the way on the right coast, one of hte farthest away locations.
