Same here. I liked the sounds of the show when it was announced and had high hopes as it was from JJ Abrams, but the previews just didn't make it look appealing. When the show got bad reviews I decided I wouldn't even bother giving it a chance.

Yeah it sounded really cool and I'm a huge JJ Abrams fan but once the trailer hit I just didn't care at all to start watching it and like you said bad ratings just turned me away from even bothering to watch it.

Yeah even though I feel bad for fans of Undercovers so happy it was canceled as that gives more hope to Community and Chuck for there fans.

I watched Undercovers and liked it to an extent, but I'm a little surprised they cancelled it already since it is one the shows they ordered four more scripts for it back when Chuck got extended to 24 episodes and that fact gets ignored in the articles about it being cancelled. The ratings were bad enough that it getting cancelled isn't surprising though. I'd rather this show goes than Chase, so I'm ok with it, especially if it helps Chuck too.

I was actually getting into The Whole Truth and did not think it was a bad show. I was wondering what happened to that show and Outlaw.

Every time another NBC shows is canceled it makes me feel good about Chuck and Community. We can only hope.

Ordering additional scripts is cheap. The CW ordered additional scripts for Life Unexpected too and those will never be produced either. Actually producing the additional episodes is the expensive part.

It's a mid-season show, sometime early next year it'll debut.

NBC's heavily-publicized interview with George W. Bush only drew a 1.7 18-49 rating last night in Chuck's time slot (lower than every episode of Chuck this season). I'm not making this political and don't want opinions of Bush, I'm just pointing out that Monday at 8:00 is a difficult time slot and hopefully this helps NBC realize that they should be grateful to have a show that can consistently get a 1.9 or better rating with almost no promotion.

Both The Event and Chase hit series lows, with The Event scoring a 1.7 rating and Chase scoring a 1.2 rating. It's a good thing Chase received a full season pickup a couple weeks ago because if NBC had waited I'm not so sure they'd have picked it up.

I didn't even know that interview would be on so I was all upset when I got home from work and realised there would be no Chuck...

The Event had a kind of slow episode and coming out of the interview before it didn't help. I'd bet the DVR numbers will help it a little (if they have yet to be counted).

I'm kidding, but anyways you'd like to think this would mean something to NBC but it doesn't. They are a bunch of fat cat morons who just don't know what quality programming is.

NBC isn't all bad. Granted the fans have a lot to do with it, but Chuck still lives on.
