As visually spectacular as this looks, there's just something about the trailers... I don't "connect" with it, and that's usually a bad sign.

But I'll see it eventually, for sure. Maybe wait until the home release.

Amused by the epic orchestral makeover of Gangsta's Paradise, though.

Same here. There's almost an emotional chill emanating from the main duo that prevents any sort of connection with the audience.

The lack of warmth is slightly disconcerting, likability and charm go a huge way with regards to a characters connection with the audience. If the actors aren't appealing even the greatest science-fiction ride will seem like a chore.

Looks fantastic, can't wait to see it... and yet, I think this'll probably bomb hard in the US. The property isn't known, the leads aren't stars, and - with rare exceptions - movies that get described as "groundbreaking", "visionary", or "spectacle" just don't do anything for American audiences. And this looks like a groundbreaking, visionary spectacle. Hope I'm wrong, but I'm predicting massive worldwide hit, big dud here.

If it's even half as good as Jupiter Ascending, this will be the best movie of 2017!

Even if it sucks, at least it's something different than another generic Disney Star Wars/Marvel film.

I'm not that familiar with DeHaan. I thought Cara was excellent in Paper Towns, no worries about her. And if the trailer is any indication, then DeHaan isn't either.

Yeah Cara was terrific in Paper Towns, perfect casting. I love that movie.
