There exists a possibility might be if/when some discs come out encode 25/50 fps. So far I've only heard of a tiny number of demo or independent releases that are encoded anything other than 24fps -- only Billy Lynn's Halftime Walk in 60fps unless I'm missing another release |

Great. Had to order this online becuase my local target no longer has the 4k in stock. How does the retuning work for online? Do i have to send it back first before getting a new one? Or can I swap discs from the replacement?

I believe you can bring it in to your store and get your money back. Then reorder it online. Depending on the clerk, they may order it again right there because it's opened media.

My Oppo 203 and my Dolby Vision set both read HDR10 metadata and the display switches into HDR mode with the standard HDR logo bug popping up on screen (if it was Dolby Vision, it would show a Dolby symbol and state Dolby Vision instead). It definitely looks like it's an HDR grade, even if it is only basic HDR10. |

The 4k player will definitely support HDR10 as that is a requirement, however it may be the metadata used to trigger these A/V units has changed in the video header from whatever authoring house Netflix used and is throwing it off. Samsung absolutely blows when it comes to keeping their players up-to-date. Unfortunately, I cannot help you with your display as you will have to upgrade to take advantage of proper HDR mapping and high nit support. Yes, the S2 4k set is HDR10. Trust us. |
