here you go a nice pic with the 111fd and the same stand. I just picked this up last week. Took good 3 hrs to put together but it looks good once up. And plenty of room.

Lopester I have actually considered this on several occasions but am holding off buying a decent stand until the Memorial Day weekend sale. Can you tell how high it is...ground up...with the Kuro attached.

I was in Best Buy today and they have the top of the line Elite Signature series PRO-141FD for only $4,999.99 plus $399.99 for the stand. That is the cheapest price I have seen in Best Buy. Normally the PRO-141FD sells for $6,999.99 and when it goes on sale it costs $5,999.99. The $4,999.99 price is a bargain at $2,000 off the original list price of $7,000.

I just hope it'll fit my 60inch TV and the Polk CS1 center speaker, right below, which is 7inch high. I took a gamble on this one so we'll see...

How tall is your center, lopester?

From the ground up to the bottom of the tv is about 3 feet, from ground to top of tv is 64in.

My center is a lil over 7in and from the top shelf to bottom of tv is 14in so you should have plenty of room.

Hello all, first off I have really been enjoying my PRO-111FD immensely !!! I have become spoiled because it does so much right that when I watch other HDTV's I have or when I go to someone else's house sometimes I want to get into a discussion about just how good it looks compared to the rest. However I don't think there is a polite way of telling someone it gets better than this . So let me say thank goodness I bought this TV and consider myself a lucky bastard........... a lucky bastard with a PRO-111FD !!! It's better than having a robotic arm !!!

I am also planning on getting the ISF calibration done too this summer. I can't wait to get this done now !!! I haven't made any arrangements yet but hopefully I can get someone great to come and do it.

I was reading somewhere on a thread that someone said that they were told by an ISF tech, "not" to use the "video pattern" mode because it will shorten the length of the TV. Did we ever get an official reason on this as to why or was this a misunderstanding ??? Thanks !!!

I have been meaning to comment on a possible reason of "why" the price of some models has went back up again or at least the model I own anyhow. It is my understanding as it has been told to me by a dealer that the price went back up for everyone because Pioneer was previously offering a rebate to dealers and some dealers were able to buy in large volume and others were not capable of doing so. Perhaps Pioneer will do this again at some point in time and prices will go back down ??? Keep your fingers crossed out there !!!

Also I think I read that people are having a hard time finding certain models and are worried about not having an opportunity to get the model they want. Well there was a press release from Pioneer some time ago that stated they will continue production so that TV's will still be available through the next holiday season. So I wouldn't worry about not getting the model you want.

Now if we could just get Pioneer to reconsider and convince them to stay in the HDTV game so that we will continue to have the best HDTV's on Earth !!!

I totally agree. Got mine back in late January and it is amazing. Only problem is I've gotten so used to the bigger size and awesome pic that it hurts looking at other TVs now. One of the best decisions I've made, to get my 5020.

So Sonny has like 50 Kuros now? Is he stockpiling to sale to the masses later when there are none available?

Although I don't have the PRO-111, I recently got the 5020 and feel the same way. When my buddies ask if I want to come over and watch a movie, I am always reluctant to go watch it at their place. The experience is so much better on our t.v. Even my wife doesn't like to go watch it on their t.v.

My 500m arrived yesterday. It was delivered by FedEx freight. I made sure that the guy stuck around so I could open up the box and inspect the glass.
No cracked glass, no damage of any kind, no dead pixels. Just pure Kuro awesomeness!!
I have it sitting in the corner of my livingroom right now, running a break-in disc. Almost 24 hours so far.

Hey guys,

Who would of thought a person could love a TV so much !!! Let's just hope Pioneer doesn't take it's secrets to the grave and someone teaches these other guys how to make a proper TV. I hate to sound like this but the new saying is: Once you go Kuro you never go back !!!
