Bill's biggest mover in years has been One Dark Night, and when that one came out, it had the collector's slip and was priced at $20 shipped through Ronin. According to Bill, who has never been one to inflate numbers, choosing instead to lowball his own sales figures, that title sold in the neighborhood of 10,000 copies.

If SOAWN is priced at or below $20 shipped, it will move nicely. Anything above that and the inventory will just sit there.

Compare Screams of a Winter Night to "House of the Dead", another anthology from that era sold by Vinegar Syndrome. Even with a fancy slip and all the VS Love, that title ain't moving at $22.99. You don't want that, Dark Force. Be smart, not greedy, and the buyers will support you.

I'm conflicted on this. I feel like if I'm going to take the hard stance of you and your company can go F yourself when they try to rip me off, I should also reward when they do the right thing. The problem is I don't think they are doing the right thing because it's the right thing to do, but because 80% of his customers told him to eat a D. I feel like all he learned here is not to announce to us he plans to rip us off. There is defintely a reason you're one of the most hated labels and you've only been around a year. However, you do have to reward your dog before they stop the bad behavior.

I think $25 is a far price, but when I add $5, I'm not gonna be in any kind of rush. I think if it's $20 I gotta support the effort and pull the trigger. What does everyone except ruined think?
