Yeah, their sources are hardly ever reliable. Latino News gets more things wrong than it does right.

AICN, the site that reported that 90% of Phantom Menace was out of focus in a story from 1998.

And, of course, Harry Knowles and his wildly positive review of '98 Godzilla because he'd been flown -- at someone else's expense -- to its première. I don't trust much that comes out of that site, to be honest.

JJ is probably whining because he wanted to use 'his' people, but I think he would be far better leaving the STAR TREK crew behind and taking a step into the unknown.

UK is just holy ground for sci-fi movies, the set builders and designers there are the business. I know a lot of people didn't get on with PROMETHEUS's story but no one can say a bad word about the gigantic practical sets and the costume designs. Ditch the greenscreen, go to the UK and shoot EPISODE VII with the biggest sets and on the biggest soundstages you can find.

I love how people are slamming JJ "whining" about this. You did see the prequels right?

How dare J.J. Abrams complain for not being able to make the film he wants to make!

I really don't care. Can we please just start shooting already so John Williams can start scoring?

I don't even care about Episode VIII and IX because he probably won't even be around to score it by then.

There is no Star Wars without JW.

Actually, Kathleen Kennedy and Disney are now in charge of Star Wars. But hey, don't let a little thing like that stop you from mindlessly trashing George Lucas. After all, he's the bogeyman responsible for all the things that have gone wrong since your childhood.

I actually really loved Sith. I just think Lucasfilms has had a hard time trying to get new projects going. I am a huge admirer of Lucas' past films. Not so much these days.

Force.net just debunked the JJ rumor. More crap bad reporting, I guess.

I'm surprised it took this long for Disney to deny the rumor, but it didn't make any sense. Glad they already debunked it.

Earlier today, Badass Digest reported that "J.J. Abrams is on the verge of dropping out of" his directing role on Star Wars Episode VII. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you feel about Abrams), this rumor is false. We reached out to Lucasfilm for comment, and a company spokesman provided the following statement:

"There is no truth to the rumor. JJ is having a great time working on the script and is looking forward to going into production next year."

For those of you keeping score at home, that's roughly the seven-billionth Episode VII-related rumor to be debunked.

Please stay in England, I want my extras and imperials to have British accents like the original films, not Australian ones like the prequels.

The prequels were filmed in England too, but yeah, most of the filming took place in Australia.

England is such a good place to film as we have all the things a big studio needs, so I'm glad Disney are focusing on England.

yeah but they are all still crap. that is like saying a kick to the gut is better than a kick to the head - you could do without either and get along just fine. same here. sometimes anticiptation and dreaming of what they could do is better than the actual result. something tells me that we are going to we talking about the new Star Wars movies the same way we talk about the prequels.

Nah, anything starring Ryan Gosling is crap. The ST movies are great.

I just can't see Michael Arndt and Lawrence Kasdan delivering screenplays on the level of the Prequels. Those guys are masters of dialog. We may have debates on the stories, but I just can't see the news films getting ripped for inane dialog and thin characters the way the prequels were.

Just as long as there is no over abundance of kiddie type monsters that ruined Jedi and the first 2 prequels.

I haven't checked out the various SW threads for a long time only to find that they are plagued by the same BS. What is the matter with SW fans=haters?

Can't win them all, I guess.
