But don't worry about it they will even themselfs out.

I went through the same deal when i got my second SUB.
It was one of the best decisions i made for my system.

Two is always better then one

Thanks. Im pretty excited about it. I ordered a new digital coaxial cable via Monoprice and while I was at it, I got all new 1.3 cat2 HDMI cables. The ones I have were purchased near Christmas of 05, so Im pretty sure they are not 1.3 Cat2. I ended up having to get my digital coaxial y splitters from Radio Shack as I could not find them on Monoprice. I hated paying full price for them but oh well. My next endeavor after I receive my sub will be to convince my girlfriend to let my splurge on the new Oppo BDP, as I recieved an invite to buy a couple days ago. Ive been trying to sell my PS3 as a bundle package for $400, but haven't had any takers. I like the PS3, but have realized Im really not a gamer!

You said it. If I ever have questions about an upgrade, I normally go to crazyBlue, because chances are he's already done it.

will adding a second sub with different make/model make my system sound worse or improve? I currently have an mfw 15 but don't want to spend too much on another. Mine sounds fine with one but just the thought of adding a second is just cool.

Adding a second sub is primary used to obtain even bass response, so it should help your set-up and the "coolness" factor. I use my PSW10 to "compliment" the low frequency response around my primary seating position that I primarily get from my SVS PC-12 sub. Location is the most important thing to think about with a 2 sub set-up, especially where one sub is stronger or a different make than the other. The sub crawl is a good start to find those locations that are strongest and those that are weakest. This you would put the sub in your primary seating position and then go to a place within the room and listen to where you think the bass is the strongest, then this would be where you would end up putting the sub. Big Daddy has stated using a "better" sub with a "lesser" sub can be done, but it will take some "tweaking" with location to get them to be dialed-in together.

Here is BD sticky on standing waves and room modes, which explains the sub crawl in better detail. https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=48286

I hope some of this helps....good luck!

Reading a lot of threads on this forum its recommended to keep with the same Company or series For example My subs are a Paradigm DSP-3100 which are 10 inch

They make DSP-3200 which are the 12inch ver and the 3400 which is the 15inch .So if i wanted to add a 3rd sub i personally would be looking at any of these 3 subs

When I was asking questions on this forum about a second sub this was told to me by veterans on this forum i respect

Thats my 2 cents

I agree. Plus it makes it look like you had a plan when everything matches!
