Nice five minute piece. Thanks for elaborating. Myself, I'm already tired of the whole sha- bang. really, it's just another entertainer that died. Danny Ganz died(who cares? Farrah died(who cares?) When my own father passed away recently, It took me 6 months to come out of the doldrums and re-join the world. It's death. That's it. Nobody on this Forum knew MJ or got presents from him. It's news that's all. What are you going to cry because Maddoff got 150 years? it's news, so what. Luckily though, Bernie didn't touch my life one bit. Thanks God. |

Very nice piece you wrote. I think back in the day, we all danced those Thriller and Beat It steps. The whole world knew this performer. Armstrong ,Bing, Astaire, Sinatra, Elvis, Michael Jackson - Not many , if you think about it. The cream of the 20th Century Popular Entertainers. |

Hey You Guys:
I just wanted to know how a group of people felt about this subject. Call me silly or boring. Probably, for some of you, answering a post like this would uncover the fact that deep down, one or two of you might even find Show Music not too shabby either. ![]() ![]() |

All signs point to Bruce. The rambling sentences, the double or triple posting, the constant bumping of the thread, etc. I don't care if the IPs don't match.
To add another thing about MJ, I actually did slip into thinking about his life last night, and it made me realize how ridiculous it was that he was 23-24 years old when he did the Thriller album/the moonwalk at the Motown anniversary show. To me that seems incredibly young, but considering the incredibly early start to his career, I guess he was a seasoned veteran at that point. He just seemed to understand pop music in a way that nobody else really did, so maybe he was a musical genius. Eventually pop music left him behind (look at Invincible's failure), but for an entire decade or more, he was in a league of his own. |

But seriously, it makes NO sense at all for them to be all white. I would expect them to be a bit darker and have more african-american hair type... but they look pure 100% white from head to toe... this is just realy weird to me! |

Edit: Here's a fairly recent picture of his three kids. The one on the far right is Prince Michael II (Blanket is a nickname, not his real name. I assume they might use the nickname to distinguish him from his brother, also named Prince Michael), and was the one that MJ held over a balcony back in 2002, soon after he was born. ![]() Last edited by toef; 06-29-2009 at 09:32 PM. |

Yup. I heard that today. Blanket Jackson I[/QUOTE]
Actually his legal name is Prince Michael Jackson II, but he's always been called Blanket. I read today that the mother of his 2 oldest children say that their marriage was a sham and they never had sex during their marriage, and that the children were from a ***** donor, not Michael. |

Since MJ death, I cant help but to think about how everyone wanted his head for being a child molester. Since his death though everyone seems to have forgotten about that. I am not saying that he deserved to die but in my eyes he will be more famous for being a weirdo and a sexual predator than for his music.

![]() Anyhow, I completely disagree. I think time will do MJ well, and years from now kids will be exposed to him because of hearing one of his songs, whether it's an original one, or a sample in some new song they are hearing. They'll only find out about the weird parts of his life if they start digging up info about him. And I think you are using the term "everyone" when you really mean "some people". Look around the threads on this site to see how "everyone" hasn't overlooked the weird parts of his life, and choose to still crack jokes about him the second after he died. |
