As a Canadian, I get very few months to enjoy golfing so during the summer almost all my time is devoted to that. I still get a few hours of gaming done every once in a while, but WAY less then winter. I hate the weather here by the way...

I'd love to get one myself, but I have a sinking feeling one of my dogs (most likely the Border Collie) would either kill it or give it a heart attack.
Sunny the Sun Conure is my avatar. I also have Manny the Yellow Naped Amazon (who loves to sing Old MacDonald's Farm) and T. O. (named after the Buffalo Bill, then an Eagle) the Jardine's Parrot. If you have mellow dogs and get a baby parrot it might work out, but after having parrots for five years, I tell everyone that they make horrible pets. They are an incredible investment in time, space and money, and they are destructive and extremely messy. They don't all talk, but they all poop a lot. If you love them, it's fun, but you have to be able to handle damage to the woodwork, a huge mess and almost never travelling.

Independence Day is winding down; I still haven't played PS3 since Memorial weekend. Yesterday was a work holiday. Wife and I had to drive up the shore to pick up our weekly farm share that we purchased. She suckered me into stopping for beers a couple of times on the way back. It was a hard sell. Nothing was accomplished. Today, put the new high-VHF antenna (for channel 10) up, planted a plum tree, strung supports for cucumber vines, watered, fertilized, weeded, piled dirt around potatoes, had a Mojito on the shore of the Big Lake, fetched the newspaper. Just finished an outstanding Martini, the parrots are having dinner, wife is making a giant salad for dinner (produce of garden) and I am wasting my time here.

If it were January, I would have only to wake up, drink coffee, do a crossword puzzle, run on the treadmill and then play PS3 until time to make dinner for parrots (and have some cocktails).

Not that much. First I'm quite busy working, second it's too hot at home to play so I'll play some but definitely not that much.

I don't watch a lot of TV in the summer, so the time that I do spend inside, I spend on playing games.

Really the only time I spend playing games during the summer is on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and only for about half an hour. I'd rather spend the nice days golfing or playing tennis or working in my yard. However, once NCAA Football is released in a couple weeks I'll play quite a bit, around an hour a day for the first month it's out.

Been kind of cutting back because don't really want my PS3 to suffer but I still will watch at least a dvd and play at least 1 game a day.

I think I am lapsing into a nongamer....I haven't played a videogame session for longer than 20 minutes in over 6 months.

My PS3 is solely used for sotring CDs, Pandora, Blu-rays, and FF7 now.

It happens...
