I was thinking of the exact same scene..especially the very beginning of it when he slices the head of the gunner and mows down the guy in the front seat

No mention of the baseball bat scene from The Untouchables, it's pretty creepy how Deniro just walk's around the table talking and everyone laughing at his jokes and then he swing's away. I would be asking for the check from the waiter after that one

Well the guy is not dead however, just a little knock around I guess, still the best scene in TDK IMO

creapy would be the knife in the mouth scene later on

No question!

Alien - Kane, the first of many to die.

It was graphic but not cheesy.

It was creative and original and even blew the minds of the cast members. It caused people to leave the Theatre during advance screenings and the trend continued into it's threatre release.

Even today, the scene is fanastic, and John Hurt's performance is fantastic.

The Poor Monkey in "Faces of Death!" Gets his brains eaten while hes still alive....

This one is a little risky but what about "The Passion of Christ?"

Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead: When the black guy gets buckwheated. Not a lot of blood but you imagine how painful it is. Sick.

OUCH! Yeah I never understood why he bit the curb. Was it a matter of honor or something? Regardless, that scene is insanely hard to watch.

How about Jason X when Jason freezes that girl's face and then slams it into the counter top? Horrible movie, great death scene.

I can't think of deaths, but American History X's was pretty powerful.
Not sick and inventive, but very powerful.
I'm thinking of Evil Dead, and Oldboy, and Hostel, and while they do have some sick deaths, the most disturbing, sick things happen to them while they are still alive.

Se7en has some good death scenes, and the stabbing in Zodiac too.

I've never considered Tarantino death scenes to be that gross, they've always been very stylized. Although the car crash in Death Proof was pretty sick.
The ear cutting in Reservoir Dogs is really disgusting, but that wasn't a death.

Oh and the Alien series' deaths are awesome.
