It's funny, I've always thought Microsoft tried to copy Apple in trying to make the most efficient packaging given the least amount of space possible (I think those guys over at Apple do an amazing job in their packaging and must have an entire R&D department just for packaging!).

The packaging of the Xbox 360's, IMO, do little in the way of protecting the console from damage should one be dropped or something heavy fall on it. Way to go Microsoft!

I would say, from the outside the ps3. It shows you what your buying lol. And it must be so great to have a ps3 as your ad pic on the box. It is sexy. Also, the way the ps3 box opens up. Very cool. And the care taken to keep the ps3 sweet. A cool cloth and a nice bit of hard card lol.

It kinda kicks ass.

Is that to me? I did say, the ps3. Sorta. Mind you, if you dropped either box, your console would be dead lol.

Anyway. Once you open a ps3 box, your like. Wow! It shines and looks so cool. You open a 360 box and you get a xbox360. Not really wow looking.

Infact. I must say the 360 looks so crap. Its like cheap plastic.

If I was a kid, I would have to play with a 360. Maybe in the bath (with no power attached). But if I was a kid and saw the ps3. I would steer very clear. Its too adult like and expensive looking.
