My Blu-Ray steelbook list currently contains 130 titles, not including this one, and of those 130, I have 127 either in-hand, ordered, or pre-ordered. Of the three I am missing, 1 is unconfirmed so not ordered, 1 I am about to order, and the other I am waiting to order.
Does it mean you ordered the 9 US Bonds???

Where did you got that Naruto Steelbook?
I have Casino Royale (US), Resident Evil 5 (US) & Soul Calibur IV (AUS) so far.

Cheers,

No, never ordered the US Bonds. The 127 is the total with all in-hand, ordered, and pre-ordered. Now of course some may not turn out to be steels and that will have to be adjusted, but you better watch out tiger cause here I come

I know.
If some of those French aren't Steelbook I'm pretty sure to find a way to get them. My fingers are crossed with "Le Deuxième Souffle"!

All the others ordered (7) are pretty safe though.

Cheers,
Gui.

How many SteelBooks (Blu-ray and HD DVD) do you count released so far world wide (not counting future releases)?

By my count, it's 130 counting duplicate or exclusive releases (multiple T2, TDK copies, Canadian Bonds, separate FNAC exclusives and counting only FF VII from China, Korea, and Thailand).

Are you counting the US and Canadian bonds as distinct?

Once I know that I will add em up

Thanks

Yes, I am counting US and Canadian Bonds as separate. I am also counting all the different T2 versions, TDK versions, and FF VII (Thai, China, Korea) versions as separate. I am also counting FNAC exclusive versions as separate (TDK, Babylon AD, etc)

Please don't include those SteelBooks that have not been released yet.

By my latest tally, there are 130 Blu-ray and HD DVD SteelBooks released world wide so far.

Thanks for the info.

I will add them up.

I am not sure though how many FNAC releases there are. I know of Babylon A.D., TDK, Hellboy II, Body of Lies, and Gran Torino, and I believe that all those were aloso released separately in France as well so they would each count as 2.

Cheers
Michael

Steelbook Count

Okay, I get 133 for Blu-Ray + HD-DVD as per the following

Blu-Ray
Australia: 1
Canada: 13
China: 1
Denmark: 1
France (Non-FNAC): 41
France (FNAC): 5
Germany: 40
Italy: 3
Japan: 1
Korea: 1
Mexico: 1
Netherlands: 3
Spain: 1
Sweden: 1
Thailand: 1
UK: 7
USA: 9

HD-DVD
Total: 3 (T2, Strip Mind, Death Proof)

This does not include anything that has not been released yet.

For the FFVII, do you consider the Hong Kong version to be China?

Cheers
CrashKelly

Yes it is, and we need to stop

I already have 40 France Steelbooks, with Pirates (confirmed Steelbook) on the way to make 41, although there may be confusion between the regular and FNAC releases.

how do you justify counting the Canadian and US Bond SteelBooks as different when they have the same UPC# on the Steel itsself(i know theres a paper insert)????. I now understand where all these inflated counts come from, I hope none of you are bankers

In my personal count, I consider the Bond Steelbooks to be one in the same as I agree with you. While the only difference on the T2's is the paper insert, they do have different UPC codes are are from significantly different countries.

My Steelbook count of 109 is for unique and distinct steelbooks

Cheers
