It is 5 discs, a the 5th disc is OotP with all the extras. Plus, 2 additional crap-def DVDs?

So the only chances of getting HD extras are on the 5th disc? I suppose discs 1-4 will include ALL the extras included in the previously released DVD versions? In standard-def probably.

If they want me to give a damn about the extras, they better come high definition!

Amazon currently has the Harry Potter movies listed as separate releases not in a boxset. I was under the assumption that they were only related as a giftset.

In Russia there is also promo with planned street date for Harry Potter & Half-Blood Prince on BD - November 17th

Loved new HP movie. Simply one the best in the series. It's almost as good as Prisoner of Azkaban (best for me), IMHO.

Although this would be a rather quick releases time frame, I see it as very possible. probably release in the states either tuesday 11/24 or friday 11/27.....BLACK FRIDAY Warner knows if they do this it will sell a gazillion copies.
