I took from the commercials that this was going to be likely more of a drama with a side of comedy. Looks interesting and, obviously with the line up of actors in it, it will likely do well regardless.

have you never seen a comedy trailer? most comedy fans fall into a few categories when it comes to recognition. either you remember the director's name, or his movies, so we get: "judd apatow's 3rd film..." "from the creators of there's something about mary and me myself and irene" or "from the creator of old school...." over the past few years, apatow has become a name brand of comedies, why wouldn't they throw his name in there?

I really enjoy the Harry Potter joke, but the rest of it doesn't seem funny at all to me (especially that segment they played on The Tonight Show; that was so boring). I feel this way about all of Apatow's (and Sandler's) movies, though, so I'll probably wait to see it on Blu-ray later.

I like Rogan/Apatow/Hill but I'm on the fence because of Sandler, who I find extremely unfunny. I'm sure I'll end up seeing it as I have enjoyed all of Apatow's movies on one level or another.
