I did a poll not too long ago on "Hook"...which basically flopped and was directed by Steven Spielberg. I was a kid when I first saw it and it never gets old for me. Dustin Hoffman was also great in it as well as Robin Williams.

The poll revealed that I was not alone and a lot of members would buy it if it came on blu.

Wow I had no idea people didn't like that movie. I guess I grew up on and just thought that everyone loved it lol. I'll need to see it now that I'm older and see if it's as bad as some say

Add me to that club as well. I just dont get what is so bad about Hook. I thought it was fun and endearing. It's a children's movie.

ok i missed the OP question, i didn't realize it was for poorly received movies. i thought it was just for admitting you own a certain movie (regardless how it was received).

in this category: Vanilla Sky for me. one of my all-time favs. most didn't like it. the rest loved it. a definite love it or hate it.

Anybody here ever see "Airborne" from '93? One of my favorite movies when I was a kid, can probably still recite all the lines from it.

Haha, classic Jack Black... "Did he just call you a piece of underwear?" Kinda makes me want to find my old rollerblades and play some hockey again.

Xanadu.

There... I said it.

Seriously, I remember thinking this movie was pretty bad when I was kid, but always loved that soundtrack (I'm a big Electric Light Orchestra/Jeff Lyne fan). Seeing it again recently, I still LOVE the soundtrack and... dare I say it... the movie is a fun slice of cheese! Okay, calling it cheese is giving it too much credit. I'll call it a tasty wedge of Velveeta.

If I remember right, is the film that has musicians Phil Collins,Jimmy Buffett and David Crosby in minor roles, I beleive Glenn Close plays a male pirate as well.

The "Trinity" films(They Call Me Trinity and Trinity Is Still My Name) starring Terence Hill and Bud Spencer are guilty pleasures!
