The Crue concert was filmed right in good ol Grand Rapids, MI for the DVD! I was at that show and it was AMAZING! I'm hoping that it is the same footage for the blu-ray release as well. I am very excited for this. Great post Mark!

NICE MAN!

I saw the show in Halifax, Nova Scotia, row 3 right side of the stage... was a matter of feet away from Mick Mars the whole show... was CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love how watching the DVD basically makes you feel like you are there all over again. A MUST ON BLU!!!

So does Vince actually sing all the words on this one? I couldn't bear to buy it after I bought Lewd, Crued and Tattooed and he sang 1/3 of the words. But Tommy's playin' drums, so that might be worth the price of admission alone.

Vince sounded alot better than normal on that tour. I also have the older DVD from the New Tatoo tour and he sounded like CRAP! That concert looks/sounds very cheap compared to Carnival.

The Carnival of Sins tour is a winner!!! All around, they sound tight!

He sounds better, but it was also fixed in post production using a pitch shifter. During Too Fast for Love, you get a little "electronic sounding" pitches from his voice. Of all their video and audio recordings this is the best sounding concert they've released.

I saw that show in HD on either HDNet or Mojo. I went to 2 of the Carnival of Sins shows in 2005 when they were here to Detroit.

I'll pick up the BD.

Maybe Mark is Tommy Lee on a vodka binge in disguise?

WEA is short for Warner/Elektra/Atlantic records. I tired looking on their sites to find news of these releases and couldn't find anything. Seems a little suspect to me.

I was hoping they'd release the video clips, like they did in Decade of decadence (Kickstart my heart, Smokin in the boys room ...) rather than a concert ... let's hope there will be some in the special features ...

Very suspect since Motley Crue has not been with WEA(Electra) since the mid 90s as well.

I feel this is BS now.

It should be 'Studio: Clear Channel Entertainment Home Video'.

I apologize as well. Thanks for the links by the way. I wonder how the Ozzfest one will turn out? Seeing as how it is on Blu Ray, I hope they have more than just a couple of songs by the bands.
