Agree. If the story is not there (in notes, etc from Tolkien), then it should not be attempted. We'd be looking at what, The Hobbit Ring-Keeper and the Search for Gollum (and for more $$)? I'll pass.

Totally agree on the first point....And agree on your point about 3D films, with
the exception of UP...
