Could just be bad art, but if it IS rounded...then a regular case wouldn't fit in it, and I'd say it has to be a steelbook. No?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but "Steelbook" is a trademarked name by Scanovo isn't it?

So I'm going to assume you cannot advertise something as having a Steelbook if it is not in fact an actual SteelBook?

Since they actually use the trademark after Steelbook in the ad they know there is something that is trademarked and therefore by printing it so I think it is in fact a Steelbook.

I think we've pretty much determined it is indeed a SteelBook... Only thing that worries me is that it's DVD size and not BD...

I was thinking the same thing. I have a hard time imagining best buy/futureshop having 2 separate steelbooks as oppose to one, but hey, anything can happen

Ooooh, I recently bought The Departed Steelbook from a local Half-Priced Books Store for $5.98 and became amazed with steelbooks. I now want more! I will for sure go to Best Buy and pre-order this if this is truely a Steelbook and not some sleeve. Plus I already own the previous DVD and can get the $10 off coupon and if we find out that some store/website is selling it cheaper than Best Buy's price we can get them to price match! I'm even more excited for this now.

Theres no blu-ray banner, so its def not the one futureshop is supposed to get. Also Ian, the guy at FS media office said no more DVD steels, only blu-ray, so I wonder what this is then at bestbuy USA. Since diamond editions come with the DVD, could it be that if you buy the DVD edition you get the Steelbook, if you buy the Blu-ray edition, the included DVD is the steelbook, and the Blu is the regular?

The DVD only edition doesn't come out for six or seven weeks after the Blu-ray version is released, so I don't think this is the case.

Actually Future Shop released 26 DVD Steelbooks exclusive to Canada.
I own 21 and both DMC and ATW were released in a Steelbook.

Here's a picture:

POTC 2 is a beauty and it's one of the very first Steelbook released in Canada.

The first FS SBs were given by the cashier when you bought the amaray and they gave you an unsealed empty Steelbook. They all went OOP day 1.

Narnia, Underworld Evo & POTC-DMC were released that way as far as I remember. These few Steels are extremely HTF and pricy on eBay.

The Watchmen SB have no blue ribbon printed on the SB.
I really like the ribbon free Steelbook.

No I know watchmen doesn't have it, but when I emailed Ian (futureshop) he said snow white would have it, sorry that's what I meant my post to mean. So it appears that what we will get in Canada is different than this, least thus far.

I am intrigued and I am going to preorder it so I can get a copy of this. If it ain't a real SteelBook which I doubt because I don't think Best Buy wants to get sued. If it's free it's all good

Oh yeah.. I actually emailed Scanavo about this too and they are supposedly working with amazon.de to rectify the issue.. but who knows how long it will take??
