I loved the Dreamcast, it had such great games. The NFL2K series, hell all the 2K games, Blue Stinger (one of my favs), and Sonic. I remember when online play was available on the NFL2K games, only had a dial-up connection at the time and gameplay was very laggy but still fun.

Remember Seaman?! I loved that game, with Leonard Nimoy doing the narrating. If you missed a day or two on the game your 'Seaman' died and you would have to start over. Best part of that game was the attitude Seaman had, kind of a jerk.

Think I might have to break out the old Dreamcast tonight and play for a while. It is always fun going back to play old systems, they never seem to get old.

And don't forget the catch phrase, "It's Thinking."

Haha good times. I think Dreamcast was the first console with internet cabability? Well...the PS2 came right after it. I remember playing Soul Caliber and Sonic.

IGN has now posted a top 25 Dreamcast games listing go here to check it out:

Just the bottom 10 are up right now with the rest to follow tomorrow I assume.

http://games.ign.com/articles/102/1021451p1.html

I'll bet on Shenmue making no. 1.

I'm trying to figure out that one game. I forgot the name of the title, but it was a game that's included during the launch of the dreamcast. It's a action/adventure game. "Blue" something?

Shenmue, I forgot about that game, definitely my favorite. I remember I imported Shenmue II for the Dreamcast and was mad when it was released for the Xbox.

Hands downt he most underrated game on Dreamcast... Toy Commander!!

Me and my buddies used to stay up to 3:00am playing that game!
I pray every day it shows up on Xbox Live, since they have DC conversion kits for 360, even though I know it won't. Toy Commander with online play I'd dump $20 on right now. That and Power Stone 2, which is what Smash Bros would be if it was fun without the gimmick I still hug my subtitled UK import of Shenmue 2.

Next time I'm in Japan I need to find Samba de Amigo 2K

Kotaku has posted a small story on the DC:

Apparently a new game is coming
http://kotaku.com/5355311/happy-birt...res-a-new-game

And here is a blog post by Peter Moore, Xbox 360 man, current EA Sports employee. He was the figurehead for the DC launch here in the US:

i still have my dreamcast with like 75 games
about 65 games are burnt games

i loved that system, i also loved how for nfl 2k you could pick your play on the VMU so your opponent couldnt see your play.

anyone else remember the FREE '50 hours' of seganet everyone had to play online that never expired?
that was my 1st venture into online gaming and ive been hooked ever since

Same here, I still have mine plus the Import console. I also have the import guns for house of the dead. I can't remember the story behind it, but the imported guns were much better then the ones sold in the US.

Did anyone besides me, go into the controller and snap the buttons and refixed them on purpose to have a better controller reflex, the controller trigger felt so much better after doing that.
