I would give it 3.75 out of 5 as a movie but the P/Q and audio were both very nice.
Definitely worth a rent IMO.

Or better yet assuming a close BB location....rent the easy to get titles and bring them into the store and replace them with the ones you really want.

Has anyone found The Patriot at their Blockbuster? I just went to mine for the first time in like 2 years to check out their BR selection (I got a PS3 2 days ago) and they only had about 20 movies.

Default Blu-Ray's in chicago blockbusters??

Does anyone know if any local BB's in chicago have them. All the ones in my area say no. Does anyone have a link to where there is a list of the BB's that carry blu-ray rentals?

Thumbs down Blockbuster is surely on my sh*tlist tonight!!

I just signed up for blockbuster online last week, I brought Warriors[blu-ray] back to my local blockbuster tonight to trade it in for my free rental...to my surprise they finally got blu-ray......but OMFG!!! They would NOT let me trade my blu-ray in for another blu-ray...I even complained to the manager and she called into corporate or where ever they call, and NO Folks I walked out empty handed!! what kind of BS is THAT!?

Somthing is not right, I also get whatever I want from 2 of my local blockbuster blu-ray or not with my on-line return, I have never encounter any problems. Check your online agreement, I assume you have total access.

I do have total access , I currently have the 3 at a time package and all the things I read on here about blockbuster made me assume that was the case....they claim it may be because they Just got blu-rays in their store Tuesday and their system is not set up for it yet....like I said it is BS if you ask me...I am not that angry though this happened in Kenosha(kenowhere), WI and I am leaving to move to Ft. Myers FL, in a week so I am sure down there being a bigger city it might work different.

Rented my first BD at my local Blockbuster ( North Miami Beach, FL) yesterday "Blood & Chocolate". No sign of any HDDuD. The people there are not well informed about the format yet. Though they know the disc won't play on any dvd or hdDuD's.

I live in San Jose and the first Blockbuster (which happens to be the closer one) was very confused when I called about BD rentals. The second one got a huge shipment on Monday. Since I am in Colorado right now, I plan to check out the local Blockbuster when I get back on Sunday.

I wonder how this will affect my buying patterns? I had been using Netlfix for the last 3-4 months, but all of the movies in my queue that I really wanted to see were long wait, very long wait, etc. I was only getting movies that my wife and I were marginally interested and therefore we were not really watching the movies. This has also prompted me to buy movies such as The Patriot, POTC I and II, and Apocalypto recently even though I would have liked to view determine PQ before I buy.

With Blockbuster I may hold off on buying the movie as I believe I will be able to rent the movie and make a determination of whether I will really watch the movie again. Or conversely I will buy the movie and if I don't think I will watch it again I will just sell it and recover probably what amounts to a Blockbuster rental fee.

You must have new employees working at your BB if they wont let you trade the online rentals for blu ray's. I didn't have a problem exchanging mine where I live. Better luck to ya wherever you are moving to!
