Default Just rented my first BD locally!

No Blockbusters in my immediate carry BDs at this time, and I don't do Netflix, so I've had to buy whatever I've wanted to watch, which can be painful, at times. Last night, I returned an SD DVD that my wife rented from the local West Coast Video about a mile from my house, and they had a BD-logo sign in their window! They carry only 12 titles at this time, and have had them for about two and a half weeks. Some were new releases like 300, Roving Mars, TMNT and Disturbia. And they told me they already have Wild Hogs and Vacancy for next week. How freaking psyched am I? I rented Distrubia, and they said I was the first person to rent BDs at that store.

Oh, and they will be carrying HD DVD, they just don't have any at the moment. The kid behind the counter seemed to think that carrying HD DVD would be a waste of time. Wonder why he would think that?
