No snow here in north Florida. It'll probably go down into the 70's tonight though. I'll report back tomorrow.

Nope. Still in the high 80's with heat index in the low 90's.

Awesome-ness of seasons, in order:
1. Fall
2. Winter
3. Summer
4. Spring

I spent a Christmas in sunny 90 degree weather, and it was the saddest Christmas ever. Any Christmas without snow is pretty sad.
To each their own. And while you're shoveling snow this winter, I'll be sipping ice tea from the hammock in my back yard.

A hammock is just a big net for catching lazy people! (but I secretly want one)

Word..

I have not seen snow in a long time. I'm sick of this hot weather.

It was in the 90's today again.

Up in Tahoe, they don't have any snowfall yet, but they're able to make their own. There are a couple lifts open already.

It has been known to happen on very rare occasions and in very small doses. IIRC it was 1986 the last time SE GA/NE FL got any snow that stayed on the ground for a few days, and even that was only like 1 or 2 inches.

I wish that it snowed here in South Florida. The other day we had 95 a degree weather which is a record temperature for this time of year.

Little bit of snow here saturday morning, all melted by mid-day, suppose to possibly snow a small amount sunday or just rain. Mostly rain and snow all week then. Sheesh, is too early yet for this. If we get snow this winter in the amounts that we got rain this year we will be digging out from feet of snow, not just inches like last year. Oh well, we get what we get, I got my snow thrower all ready to go.

I am a Virigina native. So in the back of my mind I assumed Florida and few other states don't get snow.

Man it's been hot as hell all week long. I'm sick of the hot weather. I said the same thing last year and there were several nights Jacksonville we had freezing temps. It was great and I was still wearing shorts in 50 degree weather. I loved the change, but if it's too cold people get the flu because it's cold one day and hot the other.

Yes! Florida does get freezing temps.
