I personally play most of my games on Hard difficultly but I do wish there was a super easy "Casual" difficulty (even easier than Easy) on all games. In my case I've been trying to find games that I can play with my wife and sometimes even Easy is too hard for someone who otherwise never plays games. Very discouraging.

I agree on that. I work at a video game store and try to play just about every game that comes out. When people come in asking about a game, if I feel that it is not worth $60, wait for it to drop. A big example would be Saw. You can beat that in a day, is that worth $60? I think it's outrageous what games cost to begin with and then tack on DLC. More BS. If you bought Fallout 3 when it first came out, $60. If you buy all 5 DLC extras, that's almost another $55 with tax off of PSN. If you never bought the game in the first place and you buy the GOTY edition, you're getting a steal. That's just crappy for people that bought the title to begin with to support the company to make it GOTY and have to pay another $55.

Oh I hate that too! I actually had that problem on Uncharted 2 just yesterday. There is a platforming section I sucked at and everytime I fell I had to rewatch the entire unskippable cutscene again.

These things always take away that momentum you've got going.
Oh the horror. Good thing you never played (or don't remember) the original Super Mario Bros. If you die completely you get to start the entire game over again.

Really bad A.I.. One of the reasons I play a lot on-line is because people are unpredictable. Just finished Wolverine and after the first ten minutes, every bad guy did the same thing over and over.

Cost of games over the amount of time to beat it. Some games are to damn quick to beat where as some give real value for money.

Bosses that cheat. Some are super easy to beat and then some just do not give you a chance to win until you have play them 20 times.

Horror games that are not scary. Resident Evil 1 and Silent Hill 1 are the only two games to give me the creeps.

1. Crappy ports to the PS3.

2. Unnecessary frustration. Hard I can accept but when things are clearly happening just to p!ss you off that's a big no no. Games are supposed to be fun, they should not make me turn a shade of red and hurl the controller.

3. Having to reload levels when you die (it's just loaded, why is it necessary to load again just because I died?)

4. Not being unable to skip cut scenes (especially crappy/boring ones)

5. DLC being available on the day the game is released.

6. DLC being way overpriced.

7. Mandatory installs (the massive ones). I want the options not to have to do it if I want.

Making me pay for DLC that should've been included with the game in the first place.

Sports franchise games that are the same every year.

No standard method of reviewing games.

Fanboyism... Just kidding, 360 sucks! j/k

Have you played Dead Space? That game I found super scary (at least the first few chapters).

Starting it tonight or tomorrow. Heard great things about this one and looking forward to it. It is now the season to get scared silly and I hope this one lives up to its reputation.

1) The price tag gets me... Games are rarely worth $60 (which has been said here).

2) The continuation of STUPID F*(&*NG region coding.

All you people that complain about the price of a game...

I don't know what games you are buying but there hasn't been a single game I have bought this year that wasn't worth the price and I have bought about 1 / month since the new year.

I think some of you don't realize the work and effort that gets put into making a game. Sure there are games liks Saw that aren't worth it , but I don't buy those games.

So it goes back to , I don't know what games you guys are buying...

Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 are culprits of that. I HATE Killzone 2. its a constant fight against hard difficulty, and lame story telling. hell, the characters could have grunted and the game would have been better off for it. Sucky game.

Resistance 2 had areas where they would through a crap ton of enemies at you, all of which were hard to kill, and they all go only after you.

I think the perfect example of that is COD WAW. Veteran was just a nade fest.

Well if you want the best weapons it's like oh you need this item, this item, and this item to make this weapon, then you need these items to make this weapon, and so on.

As far as Uncharted 2 goes, I Platinumed that in less than a week. I have no desire to play it again. I don't see how this game should be a movie, or Hollywood should take note of this. I always jump and climb in ice caverns with no gloves on. Does the game look great, hell yeah. I don't play for eye candy, I pay to play games that hold my interest. Demon's Souls is the only game that I have played in a long time that is worth my $60. But hey, this is my opinion, you may disagree and I'm cool with that.

I also agree with Killzone 2 and Resistance 2, the story lines were terrible.

That sucks. Uncharted 2 is the sole reason I"m not getting Modern Warfare 2 because I know the Multiplayer is going to hold me off for a long time.

Well the problem is how much games cost to make. You can't expect companies to make money off of its games just by charging like $20 for a new game. Only low budget games can get away with that.

People can complain all they want about prices on games but fact is the more hard work, money, and effort that is put into a game the more it's going to stay at $60. Making a game isn't cheap and so asking for games to be like $20, $30, or even $40 is just not going to cut it.

Everything that is not UNCHARTED 2... just kidding....
I do hate how nowadays if its not a first person shooter is not good. I mean what happend to the good ol' old school platformers and such. I hate to use Uncharted as an example but this is the only game that I cant wait to play everytime I have time. I mean it feels like I just got it everytime I sit to play it.
*I hate games that get boring after the first play through
*I hate obvious mistakes in games that could have been fixed and it got left alone.
*I feel like only premium tittles should cost 60 bucks. Everything else should be priced accordingly.

I hate a lot of other things but it would take me forever to write.
