Upgrading surrounds worth it?

No need to be...it's your system! It was obviously bothering you, which is why you bit the bullet on the Axiom QS8's. Glad you're happy with them and that is indeed an improvement. Plus, having your wife in agreement is always a plus.

Congrats on the new surrounds. It's good they made the difference you wanted, and it's also good that the wife approves.
