which I might add is one of the loudest most aggressive (outside Image's IMAX's DVD's) soundmixes ever - the rear channels are ear assaultive.

The pre-order at Amazon UK has been yanked, looks like no release on March 1.

Has anyone heard any word on this title? It sucks that it got pushed back...but for how long? I can't wait for this on Blu!!!

Btw, I heartily recommend the soundtrack - one of the best I've heard.

Amazon have the run time as 133 mins, so I guess it's the shorter international version? The Canadian disc of the extended version runs 152 minutes, and I assume the French DVD release is the same adjusted for PAL speedup.

It'll probably be a port of the French disc by Studio Canal which is only the short non-director's cut.

That's wrong. The french disc is the longer cut.

Think I'll hang on and have a look at this in store before I buy. The French disc is cheap enough to import anyway TBH.

I just picked up our local version while on lunch in Melbourne at JB Hi-Fi for $17 AUD. The cover and disc are labelled Region B and has the Canal+/Universal logos, on the whole Universal releases here are region free. Also the runtime suggests that it to be the theatrical release only, with 1 hour of bonus behind the scenes extras as well. I have a Region A BD deck at home and I’ll load it up later tonight to check and report back. As Universal are notorious here for erroneous information on their covers, so I’m hoping that it’s the longer cut. And also region free for my fellow HD lovers across the pond.
