She's one of those people that doesn't stand out in public. Me and the wife passed her once on a street in LA and she had to tell me we just passed Lindsay Lohan. I guess because she's not that attractive.

That's actually kind of similar to a story that happened to my wife and I.

A couple of years ago, in August of 2007, we went to California to visit a good friend of mine that I've known since grade school (and who has since moved to CA, obviously). We stayed with him and his fiance.

We took a plane there and arrived at LAX. We got our suit cases from baggage claim, and then we stopped briefly inbetween some benches inside the airport and the exist. We were standing there, and I was getting ready to go use the restroom.

Sitting on one of the benches behind us was Kevin Dillon (aka Johnny Drama on Entourage), and what I assume was his girlfiend or wife, and his daughter. My wife and I watch that show a lot, and I was trying to get her to turn around and see, but without being obvious about it (I didn't want to be some annoying fan, and his kid was kind of fussing and he was trying to keep her calm, so I didn't want to cause any problems).

My wife wasn't quite getting the message, so I just went to use the rest room, figuring that maybe she'd look around and notice while I was gone. I got back, and she still hadn't noticed it. We then headed out of the airport to grab the shuttle to the rental car place, and as we got far enough away where I could talk a little louder without him hearing us, I told her that the guy sitting on the bench behind where we were was "Drama" from Entourage. She was surprised and said "Oh, really?!"


A funny post-script to that story. A few months or so later we were watching the Emmy awards, and they showed the cast of Entourage sitting together, and Kevin Dillon's wife/gf/whatever was sitting there with him, and my wife says, "Oh! I think I recognize her!"

I had a similar thing happen to me in Boston when I lived up there. I went an early movie screening a few years back and found out as I was leaving that I was sitting two seats away from Natalie Portman.

I dont really know. I'm not from L.A. but my wife is and she was taking me around. It was around Rodeo Drive where all the jewelry shops and stuff are. Lindsay was dating Wilmer at the time and they were together. I didnt recognize either of them but my wife can pick Waldo out of a crowd from 3 miles away.
