don't know if it was posted here, found it in AVS below is the link for the announcement

720P but it's a good sign that 3D doesn't have to be expensive.

Will they have a 1080p model with a V-stretch mode and then I'm all in then (If the price is right). Sounds good for it's price though.

I'm sure there will be 3D 1080p projectors by next year. They will be HDMI 1.4 which is not widely available so once that gets into the pipeline we'll probably start seeing them.

I can't wait for some good 3d projectors, i've already started saving (well, I had before I bought my current projector, which as odd as that sounds I had no intention on waiting what could be years to buy a new one [my old one was more or less dead]).

I however highly hop that the ps3 is all I shall need (can't see why not). Speaking of which as the video basically needs two images (one for each eye), wont that mean most of these films will have many of the problems lower bitrate films will have hhnoes:

I have just sold my Optoma HD65 and bought the HD66. Now can anyone tell me if this will be compatible with 3D Blu-ray or even SKY 3D. This does not mean to much to me as I stil have a decent projector and it only cost me £75 to upgrade, but would like to know if I can view 3D material when it becomes available.

Cheers

Jay

meanwhile:
http://www.optomausa.com/3d_faq.asp
^for all the questions about this projector's 3-D capabilities. i don't have a GeForce 3D Vision thing but ATI has also presented their own version of it:
http://3dvision-blog.com/ati-has-ann...e-at-gdc-2010/

so either way it's going to require active shutter solution. & it's also 720p for this particular projector. that's fine by me =P.
