Awesome. Love the seats. Was going to inquire about how many times you've fallen asleep in those babies, but given the audio setup, probably not possible!

Yeah my system has been on the Gallery for well over a year now, but in all that time I just never added a thread here on the forum. I guess better late than never right?

Thanks.

Yes the seats are super comfy. But you're right, with the audio and especially the built in ButtKickers, I rarely fall asleep.

Z-Man, that set-up will definetly help you escape from reality. You already got a 10 from me a long time ago. Good job!

Outstanding System.Love the ENTIRE Set-Up.

The Denon Components(including the pre-pro)are simply Hi-End in Quality and Features(Not to mention the outstanding Reviews they receive month after month, and year after year.In Many(if not ALL)the Websites and Magazines).

Paired up with that Incredible Sunfire Amp,I could Only Dream how well the sound quality is for both Audio and on Movie Audio Tracks.
The THX Certified Sonance Multi-Channel Amp is no joke, either.

And nice to see pics of the Back panels and your cables.Look to be good quality, with the ability to carry every bit of Detail and Clarity your Martin Logans are able to deliver.

And a Full Compliment of Martin Logan Speakers(Including the Center,Subs, and a pair of Surrounds must provide a surround sound field that is completely immersive when watching a Blu-Ray(or even a LaserDisc/Still a Huge Fan of the Piano Black Laquer Pioneer Elite Components(including LD's).

And the Front ML Speakers with the Built-in Subs I would Love to Hear and see in the Front of My Home Theater.
Even the Seating is Outstanding for a True Cinema Experience.(And cant forget the Sweet Sony Video).

Its a Tremendous System from top to Bottom(including the racks)Thanks for posting and taking the time to share it with us.

What you have here is truly a feast for the eyes and ears ( I only wish I had the priviledge) of the latter. One of the most complete systems on this site. It is an amazing accomplishment......Enjoy

Hi Lawrence. Happy New Year to you as well! Hard to believe that in a very short time we will officially be 2010.

Yeah that was priority one, keeping all the power cables separated from the interconnects and speaker cables. So I have all my power cables and speaker cable pretty well organized, but the interconnects running from the left audio rack to the Denon AVP which is in the right audio rack, needs a bit of work.

Something that I use to keep my power cords and speaker wires separated are wall hooks. A good friend of mine told me about this, and I tried it and I really like what it has done to keep everything neat and tidy. And it's back behind everything so no one sees it. It really works. Another tip he gave me that works also, is using a fabric softener sheet (taken out of the dryer from a laundry load) to wipe the shelves after you've cleaned. This greatly helps to reduce the amount of dust that will accumulate.

Yeah if you did live in my area I would love to have you over. I wouldn't want to put you to work though.

Actually to the surprise of everyone, I don't use a universal remote. I know it must be remote control madness! But actually it isn't. While I do use pretty much all of my AV gear, the main stuff that gets used on a very regular basis is the Denon AVP pre/pro, Denon A1UDCI Blu-ray player, Dish Network HD DVR, and Toshiba HD-XA2 HD DVD players. The rest get used only on occasion.

And so each remote that goes to each component resides on the glass shelf next to them. Easy to get to and also out of the way.

I entertained the idea of getting a universal remote (something like the new Pronto or similar), but there was always the thing about having to program it to do this or that. And I always fear that watch a certain command not respond (like the volume) or get stuck. I know that the stock remotes work and work well, so I've just stuck with them.

Now one little device that I added here recently that I really love, is a miniature RF transmitter that goes into the battery compartment of a remote. I use it in my secondary Denon AVP remote to control the music stream from the kitchen. This way I can play, stop, select next track, previous track, volume up or down, and mute when listening to music streamed from my PC played through the Denon AVP. Pretty cool product that works exactly as described and is surprisingly affordable.

Seth
Hello Seth.

Sorry it took me so long to get here and post something!
As you can see, I attached your last entry from my thread to this post because, when talking about your system, the dialogue should take place right here! (Much respect due!)

I saw the on of the wall hooks for the power cords positioned behind the AVP. Smart and effective no doubt.

Anyway, that's very interesting that you do not use a universal remote. The URC-980 comes to mind for your configuration. In my experience with my MX-850, I can't ever remember a time when it froze or did not work other than when the batteries needed replacing. The MX-980 comes with a rechargable docking station and it's RF compatible. Yes, programming can be a PITA, but Universal Remote will help you via telephone with the programming and once it's done, it's comes very close to being a liberating experience! I'm glad the new RF transmitter is working well for you. I do have a question though, what about the remote that came with the Denon AVP? That is a pretty extensive remote in it's own right isn't it? Oops! Never mind, I just looked at the stock model it comes with......pass! My bad! So back to the URC MX-980. If you ever decide to opt for single controller capability, I would start at no less than the 980. The memory is so expansive, capable of accommodating every electronic device in your home that can be controlled by remote!

What am I forgetting Oh yeah, (pardon the pun[OHYEAH32]) The accolades!

Your system is REEEE-DIC-CUL-LOUS!
