I'm looking to buy a HighDef camcorder so I picked up the August 2007 issue of Camcorder & ComputerVideo magazine.
I was pleasantly surprised to see several mentions of Blu-ray in there.

From the Camcorder Insider by Tony Gomez:
Update on the Blu-ray/HD DVD Front
(On Toshiba's price drops) "This got me to wondering, is this the beginning of the end of HD DVD? When you price drop from $700 to under $300 usually something is afoot. Only time and the consumer marketplace will direct who the ultimate HD victor will be----but I already think I know. Any guesses?"
(On internal BD/HD DVD burners) "These are required to transfer content from your High-Def camcorder, and eventually burn the disk. Today there seem to be more Blu-ray burners available than HD DVD burners. That's another clue to the direction that I feel that the High-Def DVD game may be heading."

From Navigating the High-Def Maze: Which HD camcorder is right for you? by Tony Gomez:
DVD-based models
"The only standalone players that can handle the AVCHD disks are the new generation Blu-ray players, not the competing HD DVD players. The Sony Playstation 3 can also play them. AVCHD disks are not generally playable in computers, yet."

Also in his review of the Panasonic HDC-DX1 - AVCHD camcorder, TG mentions Blu-ray and PS3 several more times, including:
"But once finalized, I took the AVCHD disc out of the DX1 and placed it in my Sony Playstation 3, and amazingly, even though it's slot loading, it will accept the smaller mini-dvd AVCHD discs."
