I got dumped in the summer and to avoid nagging my friends any further I posted something here and found it helpful to see all the different people providing similar stories. If people don't want to read the topic, stay out. I don't give a shit about discussing Avatar anymore so I stay out of all nine-topics on the movie.

Having said that, Teabaggins offers up wise advice. Move on, gotta tough it out unfortunately and I've never been in a relationship as long as your's so it's tough for me to tell you what to do, but just focus on getting YOU back in order.

Don't want to steal the subject from you, but one friend of mine had her boyfriend of one year cheat on her in March 2008 then for the entire ****ing year was coming to me talking about all the bad things he said/did, etc., I literally told her enough is enough after she wouldn't take my advice ever and would wind up involving him in her life somehow. Long story short, they got back together last year and I have lost so much respect for her based on the stories I heard, so while you're in recovery mode also suggest not doing anything drastic or bad mouthing your former spouse. Move on, bite your tongue. Another girl I know got out of a relationship like three months ago, met some guy recently who she supposedly is head over heels for, then she told me she's going to visit her ex and brag about her new guy... but by devoting attention to the ex, he totally wins.

unlike you though, all I can think of is how to win back her heart and remind her of why we got together to start with.

we have been together for seven years, married four, no kids. I'm 26, she is 23. she just over time distanced herself more & more to video games and when I brought it up I got the "it's not you, it's me" excuse.

it sucks ... but, I am still fighting to keep it alive. Not wondering how to "get revenge" ... if you ever really loved her, you would be in the same boat as me.

Your time and energy would be better utilized if you concentrated on getting your life back in order and moving on. It has already been said, but I will reiterate: the BEST revenge is to become successful and then run into her at a later point in life...not some silly doing your ex's boyfriend's mom's brother's sister-in-law.
