My wife went and purchased some new bookshelves for media storage this weekend. They're fine- they look nice and are overall a better fit than what we had. However, not only do they store less than our current solution, but she ended up putting them on the front wall behind my BP6b tower! I can't help but think that's going to mess with the bipolar soundfield as it'll be diffusing it to a degree over a nice flat wall.

...it gets better- she was also talking about getting another shelf (yay! more room!) and putting them on the other side where my sub is. Doing that would require me to squeeze in my towers (she hates that they're "so far apart") and my sub's port would be too close to the shelf and probably cause it to vibrate.

Just when I think I get it "as good as it gets" in my setup, she goes and mucks with it! I'm venting here, but also I was curious how many of you end up dealing with the WAF to this degree. Oh, and for those of you that want to point and laugh, be gentle. It's been a long week. She's pregnant and in full-on nesting phase. My office got kicked up to the attic to make room for kid #2 (which honestly needed to occur, but still!) and now this.
