no matter how similar they may look (even though i think SuperStardust and Everyday Shooter look COMPLETELY different), the key factor in these games is the gameplay quicks that makes each one different.

In a group of games that are all obviously same control-wise, they rely on their quirks to set them apart.

I picked up Everyday Shooter off of PSN last night. It's pretty intense. The art style takes some getting used to, but the gameplay is rich and awesome; learning how to activate the chain reactions is key to not only high schoring, but success on each level.

I still like Stardust HD better, but probably because I like the cooler art style and more frenetic gameplay rather than the plan-your-way-to-a-high-score-while-dodging-a-bazillion-enemies of Everyday Shooter.

Picked up ES last night. It's okay but the graphics are just too ho-hum to warrant a $9.99 price. Stardust is still much better IMO.

Title says it all. Unless you dislike the genre you won't be disappointed.
