"Registration of the trophy information could not be completed"
'the game will quit-(8001050F)"
I've never seen this before-any ideas? Thanks!!

ok, i was coming here to post this exact topic, i was worried something was wrong with my ps3

i cant sign in and the game im trying to play has the "installing trophies" screen before the game starts up, but i keep getting "problem installing trophies" and then the game freezes, so i guess that is also related to the problem?

fantastic game, parise showed again why he was the man for us the whole tourney, but of course crosby came through, i was really only going to be upset if nash was the one that scored on us, cant stand him, ill take silver though, kinda cool to see canada and the US go gold/silver in both mens and womens hockey too

you just get this in the last few minutes? there is another thread about it already, its a psn issue, the game cant register the trophies with psn, so you cant start the game, hopefully its fixed soon

It's kind of weird that the Slims work fine but the older ones don't. Kind of makes me think they upgraded something on their end that isn't compatible with some piece of hardware or something in the older models.

I'm hoping the problem is fixed before I get home from work later on. I was planning on playing some God of War tonight.

I was playin LOTR at the time and the trophies didn't even unlock, freakin glitched on me...now wont load game cause cant load trophy information. I read of people missing trophies

Yeah it's a pretty widespread issue from what i can gather

seems like people are having a hard time getting on the PSN. should I just refrain from playing my PS3 till this issue is solved?

Just got it a few minutes ago, but I don't play online at all, so I'm never connected to PSN

i still think that it might need to do it to register the trophy list, im not connected right now either, but i still cant get games to start

if you can get a game started, go for it, but id be careful if you are going after trophies, im pretty sure they will sync fine once the network comes back up, but who knows, i dont remember the network having this problem before
