If this thing is OOS why do they still let you add it to your cart? Bizarre. I followed the link on the 1st page and it says OOS but then it let me add it to my cart. Didn't go any further than that so maybe you can't but if they let you check out with it OOS that would be bananas. I found this thread a little late, obviously. I have the UK steelbook but this Iron Pak actually looks quite nice. The glow in the dark would have been tight!

it can be really Out of Stock or simply the shop not willing to sell it or other reasons. The item below was priced at around $30 when it came out in 2007. It was "Out of Stock" 1 week after it hit the market. In 2009 December, I went to Bangkok and found it as well as many others OOS Limited Edition DVD on sale everywhere at a price $10 each and buy 1 get 1 free, which means $10 for 2 or $5 each (there were plenty OOS items to choose from). Now, they are REALLY OOS. http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...asticfour2.jpg And you should not buy the Thai Ironpack... - The Ironpack case here is not made in Thailand but made in China. - There's no bonus DTS DVD like the China version - The artwork on the back is similar to HK version and other Asia Region A version. That is, lots of writing on the back cover. - "The Art of Avatar" and Postcards are not included (I was told that they are being offer seperately for around $10) - The Ironpack case is not placed in a box like HK version and can damaged in transit easily. - Blu-ray specification is identical to HK and China version - Nothing special here and probably everything made in China except that sticker with Thai words on. The price isn't cheap, $42 + shipping, consider that no album, no postcards, no outer box, no extra DTS DVD, no unique artwork, everything made in China and it's simply a downgrade version of HK & China version. You just need the China version and HK version that give you two different unique artworks, then go for European Steelbook. Last edited by FeiLong; 05-09-2010 at 11:55 AM. |
