well it seems like the one to go for now is the U.K. version which stands out from the rest...this might be another T2 mania which turned out to be minimal as far as value goes. the U.K. is looking more and more like to be "THE ONE"
they might have had some inside info on this release.if everyone recalls earlier,their version was also identical to the other cover.they wised up and changed the cover for the better

I like the white cover, the original one b4 the UK one came out with the Mask version better but I will probably buy both of them. I am no where near crazy enough to buy more then 2 of the same movie, which is extreme enough lol

but if you look closely on Asian dvd release dates..i've noticed that when a pre-order comes up. Then millions of people start ordering early over there.
Incase they miss out. Seller has no option but to put up "out of stock".

the german white case is fine the blue logo matches the case and doesnt exactly block anything out

Gladiator is a very bad edition, im very disappointed.
Its not much better than the DVD edition.

They destroyed the movie, i hope they will release a better edition.

i'm sure they will release a better edition... then a better release after that.....then another release....then another release with different packageing.... then finally an ultimate edition

Don't get too excited folks, it looks like the pic IS of the original UK white SB. They simply airbrushed out the UK age ratings from the front. Clue, they left the 15 Certificate logo on the spine. Having lived in Thailand for 2 1/2 years and purchased several Univeral SB's I can tell you that the Thai version, if it ever sees the light of day WILL be the same as the UK design (Helmet design) If the Thai edition does turn out to be a white version without logos I promise that I will force myself to eat a Thai meal, and I despise Thai food(?)
