Two words....Joe Dirt. I love Joe Dirt I have watched it many times and still watch it when it comes on.

Year One was another one. Actually Year One is this decades Joe Dirt. Even though they are in the same decade.

Basically anything by Vin Diesel, eh? Honestly I get the feeling a lot of critics forget something when watching movies. Not all movies are made to be award-winners or masterpieces, a lot of movies are made for money or just for fun.

Absolutely

Nothing to do with Mexico or the culture.

Many "crime" elements just didnt pan out realistically. The main one, and the worst, was the final exchange. It would never have gone down that way. He exposed himself to total vulnerability, yet he was holding all the cards. I remember shaking my head in the theater.

I could have. Its a basic popcorn action flick and I could have loved it. My problem was the daughter. If I am supposed to root for her rescue, shouldnt she be likeable? I was rooting for Liam to leave her in Euope and to kill his ex-wife.

But watching Liam hurt people was fun.

The reason I ask is because u said Man on Fire was unrealistic. Taken was basically the samething. I love both films however but to me if u like one u should like the other as they are very similar and some of the action is amazing and a bit over the top unintentionally of course! Got Em!!
