I second "The Sting" suggestion. Speaking of Jackie Gleason, I would like to see "Papas Delicate Condition" on BD. My favorite film of his.

Charlie Chaplin would be nice too..
if they can put whole bunch in one bluray as it probably won't benefit much from high-def anyway

edit: add Hitchcock films too!

I'd like Errol Flynn on Blu-ray.
No more of the overhanded dumb-ass John Wayne please.

Anything from Danny Kaye. My favorite performer of all time. I'd also love to see To Kill a Mockingbird on blu.

As far as black-and-white films go, I wanna see some Billy Wilder!

Some Like It Hot
Sunset Blvd.
Double Indemnity
(really, film-noir in general... I'd go for Maltese Falcon, etc. Even Jean-Luc Godard's Alphaville)

And I'm dying to see some more Hitchcock on BR (in particular, Rear Window/Vertigo/Psycho)

What great silent/classic movies would I like to see on Blu-ray? All of them. The list could go on forever, but here are a few of my favorites:

City Lights
It Happened One Night
Mrs. Miniver
Stalag 17
The Apartment
The Big Sleep
The Grand Illusion
The Marx Brothers: The Cocoanuts, A Night at the Opera, Duck Soup
The Passion of Joan of Arc
The Thin Man and anything else with Myrna Loy
To Be or Not to Be
To Kill a Mockingbird
Trouble in Paradise

Seconded along with many other classic horror/sci-fi titles from Universal and others.

For starters:
  1. Dracula (both 1931 versions) [double feature]
  2. Frankenstein (1931)/Bride of Frankenstein (1935) [double feature]
  3. Son of Frankenstein (1939)/The Ghost of Frankenstein (1942) [double feature]
  4. Dracula's Daughter (1936)/Son of Dracula (1943) [double feature]
  5. The Wolf Man (1941)/Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (1943) [double feature]
  6. House of Frankenstein (1944)/House of Dracula (1945) [double feature]

and many more in that vein!

+2 How long do we have to wait???

"Stagecoach" has been ordered.

"The Bridge on the River Kwai" is another one that needs to be on Blu-ray.
