I just finished Season 2.

I remember seeing this and not enjoying the third season as much due to the confusing mess with the whole 2 years missing thing.

Just started the premiere and Vaughn's explaining everything to Sidney about the fire @ the house.

Season three is probably my favorite season. I love the mystery of what happened to Sydney during those two years. It didn't hurt having two hot Girls on screen together either.

On the Series Finale...Part 1 "Reprisal"

I gotta say Marshall had an absolutely awesome stand up and clap speech to Sloane.

Sloane/Sark/Peyton had kidnapped Marshall and NewBlonde and were trying to get them to hack some stuff and find out where something was....

And Marshall, tied to a chair and had his fingernails pulled out, was all sweaty and breathing hard and then delivered this awesome speech.

Quote:
MARSHALL: You know, I never liked you. I tolerated you because I had to, you know, because you were my superior. And I was afraid of you. And I saw how......twisted......you were. But now, I see you for who you really are. You are a weak, pathetic man. You know, you're right. I'm not cut out for this. But I am thinking about my son. I want Mitchell to look up to me, to be proud of his dad. Which is why no matter what you do to me... I'll never help you. You know what? I got...a hangnail right there on my thumb. You mind working on that one next?

FINISHED THE SERIES! *ahhhhh*

Now I need to find another show to watch from beginning to end. Started Californication but it seems like too much of a Dream On ripoff, and I adore that show.

Maybe, Mad Men?

Would prefer heavily serialized shows.

Groo, did you watch it on DVD? I watch them that way. I could not have survived the cliffhangers in season one and two. It would have killed me waiting a week to see what happened.

ha ha ha...yeah I watched them straight through, although I took a break between two and three to go through Breaking Bad.

There are only two JJ Abrams shows I've never watched, Alias and Felicity. I wasn't actually aware the latter was even remotely attached to Abrams. Anyways after managing to never see a single moment of Alias before but constantly hearing the damned name brought up in relation to favorite series amongst people here I've decided to give it a try.

I'm somewhere around episode 8 on season one and I'm still unsure of it I like this show or not. I like Vartan and I like Cooper, and the whole reason I started watching this was seeing Sarah Shahi's name attached. Anyways, I've never been a Garner fan but I'm giving it a shot. I skipped through this thread cause I didn't want to spoil anything on the off chance I do end up watching it through, but I figure I'd post here and make Groo get excited to discuss Alias with somebody other than himself.

Not quite sure how I feel about this Rimbaldi story line though...

I didn't say I was sold on this yet, it's out of my curiosity for more Shahi and JJ's early work, BUT if I do join it'll only be if I can go to their party instead....

thinking back, Shahi wasn't really that major of a character. I think she worked with Cooper at the newspaper or whatever. She's only in the 1st season I think. MAYBE some in the second.

Actually I think she's sprinkled in throughout the series, so it's kinda hard to skip around just to see her. You might as well watch the whole thing from front to back. lol

Well like I said I've watched the first 8 episodes, only you skip through a series, lol.

Tarantino just showed up!!!!!!! instant cool points

I do still feel like it's kind of obvious to me that Sloan is 99% likely to be Sidney's real father though. I haven't been interested in really anything Sidney has been up to though, I prefer Will's investigation more than the main series plot.

Loved the first two seasons, not as much after that.

I stated way back when this thread was started that this is my favorite show of all time next to Chuck, but in order to discuss a whole lot with Groo I'd have to go back and re-watch the show because it's been too long since I've watched it. I've actually been hoping for a series release on Blu-ray, but I don't know how likely that would ever actually happen.

I hope you do end up enjoying it.

Sidney reminds me of a female Walker Texas Ranger since she begins and ends every single fight with a kick, lol. I notice the similarities between Alias and Chuck already. The gifted younger spy gets recruited and later finds out both parents are also agents, who have been mostly absent since childhood, with the mother being believed to have been a trader. If she ends up just being under deep deep cover for 20 years, I'm gonna laugh at how much Chuck completely stole from Alias.

Ok, now that I do remember. I can't say one way or the other though.

Still waiting to be surprised by this show....I had been expecting one of their twists would have caught me by surprise as I'm nearing the end of the first season, but nope. It was obvious from the moment they started discussing the Snow Man who he would turn out to be, I mean you don't just cast the great Peter Berg to play an ex-boyfriend, I mean come on!! Surprise me already JJ!!!!!!

I remember watching this show and loving back when it aired, and tried to waychi it again recently. I think I made it ten episodes in to
season 1 before stopping. The cliffhangers were dumb and the Gina Torress/Jennifer Gardner spy rivalry was completly stupid. The last episode I watched was the one where it ended with Gina kicking Jennifer off the ladder and her falling into a black pit, where she would obviously die if it wasn't a show.
