Default Quick Question about reciever and blu ray
Well lately i have been noticing that my denon 3808ci reciver front panel led displays DOLBY DIGITAL or DTS SURROUND, when watching a blu-ray. I have a DMP-BD30 PANASONIC blu ray player and i have it hooked via hdmi to reciever and then hdmi from reciever to tv. I have the settings for DOLBY DIGITAL, DOLBY TRUE HD, DTS, DTS HD MASTER AUDIO set to BITSTREAM on the blu ray player. It always showed on my recievers front panel either Dolby TRUHD or DTS HD MSTR. Now it shows if it is dolby true hd, it shows DOLBY DIGITAL and for DTS HD MSTR it shows now DTS SURROUND. How do i make it go back to showing Dolby TruHd and DTS HD MSTR?? i think what caused this was the latest firmware update 2.9 i don't know though.
