We really do need to buy movies on August 28th to counter HD-DVDs exclusives. It'd be awful if they won their first week all year just after the Paramount announcement

My Best Buy is out of Shooter (on Blu Ray). Does anyone know when online orders get counted towards the sales numbers? Same day? or when they ship?

Some online vendors (like Amazon) don't disclose their actual sales. Hence Nielsen only extrapolates the Amazon figures.

if you want to suport blu-ray just buy the dvd screw parmont and just download it from i tunes and make copys to everyone<just kidding>

I continue to support Blu-ray(and myself) right at the limits of my wallet.
Bought Stealth today... BestBuy BD racks were looking kinda reamed(people getting ahead of the stockboys).

Tons of HD DVDs on the racks... wonder why?

I noticed the same thing. I will buy two or three Blus on tues. HD DUD will lose big. More PS3s are sold everyday.

I refused to see Stealth in the theaters. Is it worth renting/buying? I'm sure it'll look great in BD and of course the eye-candy in Ms. Biel is an incentive but is it enough?

hey Cab, i went and saw Stealth in the Theatres, plus i have the DVD and the Blue Ray Disc, yeah, movie kind of lame, but my youngest daughter that is in the Navy was serving on that Aircraft Carrier where movie was filmed, and yes, she has a very small part in it, wooot, now my daughter is in the Blue Angels, hence my name lol

Granted, they are all preorders....but with Fox coming out from hiding i couldn't spend any extra cash on anything BUT the movies i was excited for.....this is the best i can do, team I;ve been doing my part for the last 8 months too

Just walked out of WalMart no luck on picking up Blade of Glory in blu so I got in HD DVD I ended up getting Fantastic 4, and Prestiege in Blu though , xbox live points for some national geographic and History Channel Shows, and I picked up Heros in HD-DVD. Probably end up watching the national geographic and history channel downloads first.

i think its important to support all bluray but i think the more paramont blu we can buy tomorrow the better because then theyll see that they could make so much more with bluray than that $150MILL they got from HD

I just joined this site...recently purchased my PS3, 2 games to buy this week. Warhawk just scored an 8.5 at 1up.com by the way. I plan on buying at least 2 blu ray movies this week.
