Meh, the movie wasn't anything spectacular and more over..why buy a movie "because of the special features"?

I buy a movie because of the...movie.

To me it was a one time rental.

Id watch it again on STRZHD if it comes on.

I was 100% on board with the movie until the end where it turned into a
[Show spoiler]huge cluster. I mean seriously people, does everyone need to bite everyone, and go off from there? The writers were, for the most part, did some very interesting stuff with the genre up until then.

I agree that the atmosphere set up at the beginning was really cool and creepy. I liked the society it presented and I even thought the exploding guy was entertaining. The whole thing went to shit when that vampire showed up in Ethan Hawke's house though. That scene had me loling.

Also the Green Goblin or whatever his name is was terrible. Seriously one of the dumbest and worst characters ever. He single handedly destroyed the entire dark tone of the film.

I thought it was an interesting concept like the vampire version of Starbucks, and the vamp teens.

As far as everyone, I've been told by friends I don't fit that criteria. Guess I'm in the "everyone else" community.

Seriously, it is on its way from netflix. I don't blind buy movies even if I am told by "everyone" to do so.

saw the movie, it had an interesting plot but it was pretty disappointing nothing was really happening.. until the end, which is probably the best part.. but then
[Show spoiler]if each vampire has to bite the newly humanized vampire, wouldn't the human species still go extinct if everybody's killing everybody? there'd only going to be one human left

Did anyone actually read the OP's post? He admits the film isn't good, but says it's worth checking the disc out for the extensive documentary.

Everyone was so quick to jump in with "terrible movie" and not a single person commented on the actual purpose of his post. I have not seen the film, nor do I really desire to, but as an aspiring filmmaker I now look forward to seeing this doc.

Enjoyed the hell out of this flick. Whoever it was that described it as a George Romero movie with vampires hit it dead on. It seems with titles like this your not going to be able to please everybody. Some want more character, others more gore, and others want balls to the walls action. They did an amazing job accommodating all with a mere $16 million budget. It looks and sounds just great considering.

Then again, the people that are *****ing are likely the same people counting the hours till tired, replayed, pointless crap like Grown Ups was released. American audiences are utterly baffling right now.

I enjoyed this movie - but not quite enough to pay full price. I can wait. The movie was very original and had some good elements to it - not taking itself too serious in parts. The ending was a bit of a let down; however it was surprising.

To the OP - you really should check out other horror movies if you think this is gory. This is pretty tame in comparison.

This is America. We love Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade, Rob Schneider, and Kevin James ain't so bad.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I will eventually. I'm not going crazy for it, but I think it'll be alright.

I liked this movie and thought it was a unique spin on the whole vampire thing, but I didn't care for the ending, nor did I like it enough to own it. I would say it is one to at least watch though if you are into vampire stuff.

Why buy a shitty movie for an exceptionally well produced documentary? However impressive the documentary may be, it's still about a shitty movie.

Why buy any documentaries then? The documentary is actually longer than the movie itself, and I would say a must see if anyone interested in film making.
