I used to date a girl who owned 28 bikinis each between $80-$120 a piece. She tagged along with me one day to take my LaserDisc (yes, I said LaserDisc) player in for service. I asked her to keep it on her lap and be gentle with it as I didn't want it sliding around in the back of my car. When she asked why, I explained to her it retailed for $1k (I didn't pay that much for it). She about flipped when I said that, and started cackling at how I can spend that much money for something. I nicely reminded her that she owned about $3000 in butt floss, at which point all she could say was, "oh, yeah". We never had that conversation ever again.
