While most people here say the improvement to 24 fps is minimal, this is not necessarily the case... it depends on the source material, and what the shot is doing...

Telecine has problems with panning on long horizontal shots. Telecine "stutters" to get the 24fps up to 30 (yes, native NTSC is 30, NOT 60) the shot doubles every 4th frame as the 5th frame:

1-2-3-4-4-5-6-7-8-8-9-10-11-12-12....

In long horizontal pan shots, this "stutter" shows up as a jumping picture.

A WONDERFUL example of screwed up shot because of telecine is the horizontal panning aerial shots towards the end of "the road warrior", you know, the shots they took to portray the view from the helicopter...

I also have this TV and was under the impression that it is not 120hz, it does however support 24fps. Is there a link that confirms this because I'm pretty sure it is not 120hz.

MacDaddyOJack-

You are correct - I was mistaken. I guess I didn't do my due diligence...

Its 60hz - but Blu-Ray at 1080p/24 - its still incredible.
