I got "The Man With No Name Trilogy" and the "Magnificent Seven Collection" for the price of two of these individual releases so I'm not that worked up .... but I cannot wait to grab "Four Weddings and a Funeral." Might pick up "Overboard" as well since I am a Kurt Russell fan.

Overboard starts automatically once te disc loads. The audio is DTS MA 2.0 The Blu does contain the original trailer in HD.
I grew up watching this film after it was released to VHS and I've seen it a million times. The film contains grain and I should say at times heavy grain due to the film stock used in filming. Some may say the film looks bad at times, but the transfer seems to be handled well. The film is spread across a 50GB disc and I hope fans will be pleased with the results. For years I have dreamed of seeing classic Goldie Hawn titles in Widescreen format PROTOCOL is at the top of that list. I believe it was shot in scope 2.35:1 format. Fingers crossed for more Hawn in HD! |

I just picked up Four Weddings and a Funeral, Overboard and The Magnificent Seven from the Sanford, FL Target. I took the product IDs listed in the Hot Deals thread and they pulled them from the stockroom for me.

I think these releases are a great surprise and a welcomed one. The MGM/UA catalog has many good titles that have always sold well on DVD would be great to get even more releases such as Mermaids, Desperately*Seeking Susan.
Also the 70's classics like Foxy Brown, Coffey etc. An even Midnite Movie collections. |
