Some Targets have the titles the titles mixed into the Blu-Ray catagories. One store I was at had them on a kiosk mixed in with other 10.00 titles.

Any extras on Overboard? (I'm not really expecting any, and I'll be buying it regardless.)

Is that 'Only at Target' printed on the cover, or just a sticker?

It is a sticker with clear border on the plastic wrap.

No, you're not the only one. The Cutting Edge is probably the only one out of the group that I will be getting. As long as they didn't completely drop the ball on the transfer of course.

I got "The Man With No Name Trilogy" and the "Magnificent Seven Collection" for the price of two of these individual releases so I'm not that worked up .... but I cannot wait to grab "Four Weddings and a Funeral." Might pick up "Overboard" as well since I am a Kurt Russell fan.

I was extremely happy to find overboard at my local target. They also had the cutting edge but don't know about any others. Pretty decent transfer for overboard. No extras so that kinda sucks.

Default First Goldie Hawn HD release!

Overboard starts automatically once te disc loads. The audio is DTS MA 2.0 The Blu does contain the original trailer in HD.

I grew up watching this film after it was released to VHS and I've seen it a million times. The film contains grain and I should say at times heavy grain due to the film stock used in filming.

Some may say the film looks bad at times, but the transfer seems to be handled well. The film is spread across a 50GB disc and I hope fans will be pleased with the results.

For years I have dreamed of seeing classic Goldie Hawn titles in Widescreen format PROTOCOL is at the top of that list. I believe it was shot in scope 2.35:1 format. Fingers crossed for more Hawn in HD!

I just picked up Four Weddings and a Funeral, Overboard and The Magnificent Seven from the Sanford, FL Target. I took the product IDs listed in the Hot Deals thread and they pulled them from the stockroom for me.

As far as Four Weddings goes, here are some of the details:

English 5.1 DTS HD MA
Spanish Dolby Surround
French 5.1 DTS
Portugese Dolby Surround
Italiano 5.1 DTS
Castellano 5.1 DTS
Polski Dolby Surround

Subs

English SDH
Spanish and
French
Portuguese (Brasil)
Dansk
Suomi
Nederlands
Norsk
Castellano
Svenska
Bahasa Indonesia
Polski
Portuguese
Turkish

And a bunch of other ones in characters I'm not too familiar with

Special Features

Audio Commentary with the filmmakers
Deleted Scenes
The Wedding Planners documentary
Making of Featurette
Two Actors and a Director Featurette
Promo Spots
Theatrical Trailer

Edit:

For those concerned, I checked the first sign language scene and the subs are there.

Question

Can someone post the DCPI numbers for "Fistful of Dollars" and "For A Few Dollars More"? I may try to pick those up today... I have a few Target stores in my area.

Protocol was shot "flat" 1.85 ratio according to imdb. Add Private Benjamin, Fowl Play, Butterflies are Free, Cactus Flower, Seems Like Old Times, Wildcats, Sugarland Express, Bird On A Wire, and Death Becomes Her to the Goldie list!

Honeymoon in Vegas is on a 25GB disc, with 2.0 DTS-HD MA. The only extra is the trailer in HD. From what I've seen I think it looks pretty good.

I think these releases are a great surprise and a welcomed one. The MGM/UA catalog has many good titles that have always sold well on DVD would be great to get even more releases such as Mermaids, Desperately*Seeking Susan.

Also the 70's classics like Foxy Brown, Coffey etc. An even Midnite Movie collections.
